The mission of Chesapeake Seminary is 

• To provide a theological education in which students encounter the glory of the Triune God, an encounter that will overflow in a passion to see that glory declared among the nations.

• To provide a theological education that equips students for missionary engagement with contemporary culture.

• To provide a theological education that gives the students the tools and training necessary to lead missional congregations into the world.

• To provide resources for local churches that will equip them to pursue their missionary calling, that is, to be a kingdom of priests who exercise their ministry on behalf of the world.
